SMS Consent & Messaging Policy
reSEAT operates an AI voice concierge for boutique fitness studios. This page describes how members consent to receive text messages (SMS) from reSEAT on behalf of a participating studio, what messages we send, and how to opt out.
Who receives messages
We send SMS only to members of participating fitness studios who have explicitly opted in during a phone call with the reSEAT AI concierge. We do not send cold outreach, marketing, or third-party promotional messages, and we do not share or sell phone numbers.
How members opt in
Consent is collected verbally during a phone call that the member initiates with the AI concierge. Before any text messages are sent, the agent asks for the member's permission using the following script:
"Want me to text you booking confirmations and waitlist updates from your studio? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to opt out, and it's not required to book a class. Should I turn that on?"
A timestamped consent record is created only when the member agrees. Each record includes the member's phone number, the date and time of consent, and the consent language used. Members who decline are not texted, and declining has no effect on their ability to book or attend classes.

Members who opt in may receive:
Booking confirmations
Waitlist updates and openings
Class reminders
Replies to customer-support questions
Message frequency varies depending on the member's activity. Message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out
Members can reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. After opting out, they will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Members can reply START to opt back in, or ask the concierge on a future call.
